OBJETIVOS DE DESARROLLO SOSTENIBLE. ODS
En 2015, se definen 17 Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible de la ONU.
¿Qué son los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible?
Los líderes mundiales se unieron en 2015 para acordar unos objetivos globales que terminen con la pobreza, protejan el planeta y aseguren prosperidad para todos.
De ahí, saldría una Agenda de Desarrollo Sostenible hasta 2030 para transformar nuestro mundo, que implica a todo tipo de actores para el cambio: gobiernos, empresas, sociedad civil y personas individuales. Para que sea posible, cada uno de nosotros debe formar parte del cambio.
¿Cuáles son los 17 Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible a alcanzar en 15 años?
Cada ODS establece una serie de metas a cumplir para llegar al objetivo.
- Acabar con la pobreza
- Hambre cero
- Salud y bienestar
- Educación de calidad
- Igualdad de género
- Agua limpia y saneamiento
- Energía asequible y no contaminante
- Trabajo decente y crecimiento económico
- Industria, innovación e infraestructura
- Reducción de las desigualdades
- Ciudades y comunidades sostenibles
- Producción y consumo responsables
- Acción por el clima
- Vida submarina
- Vida de ecosistemas terrestres
- Paz, justicia e instituciones solidarias
- Alianzas para lograr los objetivos

5 JUNIO: DÍA MUNDIAL DEL MEDIO AMBIENTE
In the universe are billions of galaxies,
In our galaxy are billions of planets,
But there is Only One Earth.
In 1972, the UN General Assembly designated 5 June as World Environment Day (WED). The first celebration, under the slogan “Only One Earth” took place in 1974. In the following years, WED has developed as a platform to raise awareness on the problems facing our environment such as air pollution, plastic pollution, illegal wildlife trade, sustainable consumption, sea-level increase, and food security, among others. Furthermore, WED helps drive change in consumption patterns and in national and international environmental policy.

17 MAYO: DÍA MUNDIAL DEL RECICLAJE.
World Recycling Day, declared by UNESCO, is celebrated on May 17. It is an event that invites reflection on waste, remembering the strategy of Recover, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and the importance of good management.

14 MAYO: DIA MUNDIAL DE LAS AVES MIGRATORIAS.
El tema del Día Mundial de las Aves Migratorias 2022 se centrará en la contaminación lumínica.
Light Pollution will be the focus of the World Migratory Bird Day 2022 campaign.
Artificial light is increasing globally by at least 2 per cent per year and it is known to adversely affect many bird species. Light pollution is a significant threat to migratory birds, causing disorientation when they fly at night, leading to collisions with buildings, perturbing their internal clocks, or interfering with their ability to undertake long-distance migrations.
